Are Henna Tattoos Safe? (Audio)

Henna tattoos may seem like a harmless alternative to permanent tattoos, but new research is finding that many henna tattoos contain a chemical, PPD, that may be harmful. Contact with this chemical can cause skin sensitivity and repeat contact may lead to scarring. If the henna appears black, it probably contains PPD.
