Setting Limits on Media Use

Don Shifrin, MD, FAAP, is a pediatrician in practice in Belleview, Wash., and a spokesperson for the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). He is a former chair of the AAP committee that studies and comments on the impact of media on the social, emotional, and physical health of infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. He is clinical professor of pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle.
