Inflamamatory Bowel Disease (Audio)
During Fall and Winter, diarrhea can be common among children. But it could be a sign of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Other symptoms include blood and/or mucus in the stool, weight loss, daily abdominal cramps, fever, or joint pain. IBD is treatable and children who are diagnosed can lead normal lives, but its important to see a pediatrician early.
