Health Issues

An alternative for parents of chronically ill or medically fragile children to institutionalization, is family directed home health care. Instead of a nurse being the primary care giver at home, the family takes over after proper medical training. The child’s pediatrician, specialists, family, and local support services work together as a team to keep the child at home.
