Healthy Children Radio: Choosing Wisely (Audio)

As part of the Choosing Wisely campaign, the American Academy of Pediatrics released a list of specific tests or treatments that are commonly given to children, but are not always necessary. The list identifies five targeted, evidence-based recommendations that can get you talking with your doctor about what tests and medications are actually necessary and which ones may not be.

Pediatrician Rhonda G. Acholonu, MD, FAAP, comes on the Healthy Children radio show to talk about the five tests and medications parents can often avoid.
