David S. Rosen, MD, MPH, FAAP, comes on the show to give valuable advice for parents on working with their pediatricians to help identify and manage eating disorders in children and adolescents.
Dr. Rosen is a clinical professor of pediatrics, internal medicine and psychiatry at the University of Michigan Medical School, and chief of teenage and young adult medicine for the University of Michigan Health System, where he maintains an active clinical practice with a special interest in eating disorders. He has published and lectured widely on eating disorders and he is the lead author of the American Academy of Pediatrics' policy statement on identification and management of eating disorders in children and adolescents.
