Supporting Committees, Sections and Councils

The AAP is comprised of a wide variety of committees, sections, and councils made up of members with expertise and interest in specialized areas of pediatrics. These groups help develop many of the AAP’s positions and programs as well as present educational programs for pediatricians in order to highlight current research and practical knowledge in their respective specialties.  We gratefully acknowledge their contributions to the content on HealthyChildren.org.
