First Aid Supplies for your Car

You should prepare a first-aid kit for your home as well as one for each of your cars. The kit should contain:

• Acetaminophen or a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medication (such as ibuprofen)
• Antibiotic ointment
• Prescription medications (a month’s supply)
• Sterile adhesive bandages (in various sizes)
• Gauze pads
• Adhesive tape (hypoallergenic)
• Scissors
• Tweezers
• Soap or another cleansing agent
• Petroleum jelly or another lubricant
• Moistened towelettes
• Thermometer
