How can we help our child avoid being bullied?
Avoiding a bully is one reason your child may be reluctant to go to school. If you suspect a problem like this, you need to take action to ensure your child's safety and well-being. You should tell your child not to react to the bully; however, if this doesn’t work, encourage your child to be assertive with the bully. Also encourage your child to form strong friendships to prevent being singled out by a bully. If the problem persists, talk to your child’s teacher or principal.
