Question & Answer

Question

What is the best way to calm a fussy or colicky baby?

Answer

It may take a few tries to calm your fussy baby, but with patience and practice you will find out what works and what doesn't for your baby. We suggest holding or swaddling your baby, turning on a calming sound, or taking your baby for a walk. Sometimes a baby is colicky due to overfeeding or a food sensitivity. If it gets to the point that you are feeling stressed and ready to cry, put the baby down in a safe place and take a break.
