Question & Answer

Question

Should I buy bottled water?

Answer

Unless there are known contamination problems of drinking water, families should not be encouraged to buy bottled water. Bottled water is not required to meet any higher standards than tap water and can cost 500 to 1000 times as much.

Bottled water is regulated by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). For more information on these regulations, click here.
