What are the concerns about cell phone use among pregnant women?

Answer

Three studies on this topic from the Danish National Birth Cohort have been published.

• Two studies demonstrated that cell phone use prenatally was associated with behavioral difficulties, such as emotional and hyperactivity problems, around the age of school entry.
• A third study of cell phone use during pregnancy did not identify delays in developmental milestones among offspring up to 18 months of age.

Additional research is needed to clarify this issue.
