Why So Many Vaccinations?

My child has already had more vaccinations at 9 months than I have had in my entire life. Why are there so many more now, and why weren’t these necessary when I was a child?

Because of scientific studies and new techniques, more vaccines have been developed. Children can now be protected against more infections than they were in the past.

In the future, there will be even more vaccines! Just like seat belts and infant car seats, you survived without them, but many others didn’t. You don’t want to take a chance with your child!
