Babies and air travel: hope for the best but prepare for the worst. Well, that sounds ominous. But stay with us...
 
In fact, an ounce of prevention really is worth a pound of cure. If you take the steps in advance to prepare, you and your baby will hopefully be sitting (or better yet sleeping) pretty on the plane. Get answers to commonly asked questions about flying with babies here
 
And rememeber: when things threaten to overwhelm you, try to keep your sense of humor and relax. Parents everywhere, on every flight, have, at one time, been in your shoes. Give your fellow passengers the benefit of the doubt, and ask them for help if you need it!  
 
At home, you work so hard to make sure your house is childproof; don't let your vacation cause you to lose your common sense. Get tips here for keeping your baby safe in and around your hotel room.
