A Note from the Medical Editor

The vaccines you and your family need may vary based on several factors, including age, where you live, and where you travel. However, most children are best protected by following the Recommended Childhood Immunization Schedule. The schedule is updated every year, and changes range from the addition of a new vaccine to tweaks of current recommendations.

By following the schedule, you are ensuring that your children are protected from diseases when they are most vulnerable and when their bodies are best able to build immunity. Are your children up-to-date?
