Jeffrey Hutchinson, MD, FAAP
Dr. Jeffrey Hutchinson is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics Council on Communications and Media and an author of the AAP report, "The Power of Play: A Pediatric Role in Enhancing Development in Young Children." He served for 25 years as a U.S. Army physician before retiring and moving to Austin, Texas. His Iraq combat experience, service as a brigade surgeon for the 25th ID(L), and military hospital experiences at Landstuhl Germany, BAMC in San Antonio and Walter Reed in DC touched the lives of many military families. Since retiring as a Colonel in 2018, he continues to serve as an advisor for the National Academy of Medicine Culture of Health Program Team and an adolescent medicine specialist working at People's Community Clinic. Dr. Hutchinson also runs a leadership consulting business, The Wade Alliance. |
