Elizabeth Alderman, MD, FAAP

Dr. Elizabeth Alderman is a professor of pediatrics and obstetrics and gynecology and women's health at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore, Albert Eistein College of Medicine. Dr. Alderman is the Chief of the Division of Adolescent Medicine at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore and Program Director Emeritus of the Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Adolescent Medicine. She is the founder of the Montefiore Adolescent Primary Care Initiative. Dr. Alderman's clinical interests include menstrual disorders, particularly heavy menstrual bleeding, contraception for adolescents, confidentiality in adolescent health care, eating disorders and overall adolescent sexual health.
