Nia Bodrick, MD, MPH, FAAPDr. Dr. Nia Bodrick is a nationally recognized, board-certified General Pediatrician at Children’s National Hospital at the Town Hall Education Arts Recreation Campus (THEARC) and associate professor of pediatrics at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, DC. She serves as Co-Executive Director of the DC-based Early Childhood Innovation Network and is Past President of the District of Columbia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. In 2024, Dr. Bodrick was named an Aspen Institute Ascend Fellow. In 2025, she was selected as an Aspen IDEAS Health Fellow. She is committed to ensuring healthy outcomes for children and their families—particularly in historically marginalized communities. With nearly 15 years of experience, she brings critical expertise in early childhood mental health, childhood obesity prevention and community resilience building.
