Khadijia Tribié Reid, MD, MPH, FAAP
Dr. Khadijia Tribié Reid is a mother, wife, pediatrician and public health advocate. She is the Pediatric Medical Director of MedNorth Health Center. She is a past Chair of Novant – New Hanover Regional Medical Center’s Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Tribié Reid is an avid supporter of early childhood education and serves as the governor’s appointee on the North Carolina Partnership for Children’s Board of Directors. She is also North Carolina’s State Medical Director for Reach Out and Read. Dr. Tribié Reid engages in child and health advocacy through public speaking and writing. She has a special interest in equity and relational health. As a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics Expert Leadership Team on Trauma Informed Care, she is the author of several publications and talks on equity, childhood adversity and the power of human connection. In her downtime, Dr. Tribié Reid enjoys Friday night pizza and a movie with her family, swimming, long walks in the park and writing.

Deepa Camenga, MD, MHS, FAAP
Dr. Deepa Camenga is an associate professor of emergency medicine at the Yale School of Medicine. She is a physician-scientist who is board-certified in pediatrics and addiction medicine with expertise in adolescent addiction. Her research aims to improve the identification and treatment of substance use and substance use disorder among youth in pediatric settings. She is also the Associate Director for Pediatric Programs for the Yale Program in Addiction Medicine. In 2017, Dr. Camenga was elected to serve on a national American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on Substance Use and Prevention, tasked with protecting and improving the health and well-being of children and adolescents throughout the country.
