Julie Gilchrist, MD, FAAP
Dr. Julie Gilchrist is a pediatrician and a researcher. She spent 20 years in the U.S. Public Health Service working at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She was responsible for research and programs aiming to protect children from common and severe unintentional injuries. She has published more than 90 peer reviewed articles, book chapters and government reports. Since retiring in 2017, she has continued to publish and assist nonprofit organizations and government agencies focused on protecting children from unintentional injuries.
