Recipe: Roasted Garlicky and Cheesy Broccoli Recipe: Roasted Garlicky and Cheesy Broccoli

​Serves 4

  • 1 head broccoli, trimmed and cut into florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, cut into thin slices
  • ¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Preheat the oven to 375°F. Toss the broccoli florets ​with 3 tablespoons of olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper. Spread broccoli in an even layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle cheese on the broccoli before serving.

Dr. Mary TanakaDr. Mary Tanaka graduated from UCLA with a degree in Mass Communications. She completed her master’s degree in Complementary and Alternative Medicine through the Department of Physiology at Georgetown University. She went on to earn her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. She finished her pediatric residency at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital with a focus on Community Health and Advocacy and served as Chief Resident.
